Our collection of courses for the first year training of Michigan home caregivers. Michigan home care providers operate under 42 C.F.R. § 440.167 - Personal care services, and generally require caregivers to participate in 12 or more hours of training per year.
This collection contains 10 courses, totalling 12 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, providing care in the client's home, professionalism, confidentiality, assisting with ADLs and iADLs, communication, infection control, emergency response, reporting and documentation, and the reporting of elder abuse.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create an effective, and easy to understand, orientation training program for your Michigan-based home caregiver team.
