Assisting with Ostomy Care is designed for caregivers who are in charge of providing care and maintenance of the ostomy and the surrounding skin. This course will provide an overview of the different types of ostomies, the care and maintenance of the ostomy, and the role of the caregiver in assisting with ostomy care. The course will also cover living with an ostomy's emotional and psychosocial aspects.
