This course is designed to introduce caregivers to the basics of cerebral palsy, a group of disorders affecting a person's ability to move and maintain balance and posture. Caregivers will learn about the causes, types, symptoms, and treatments of cerebral palsy. They will understand the challenges faced by individuals with cerebral palsy and learn practical strategies to assist them in daily life activities, enhance their quality of life, and promote their independence as much as possible. Caregivers will also learn about the importance of providing emotional support, fostering social interaction, and advocating for individuals with cerebral palsy.
