Our collection of courses for the annual training of Pennsylvania Assisted Living Facility Direct Care Staff is designed to meet the requirements stated in Section 2800.65 - Staff orientation and direct care staff person training and orientation of the Pennsylvania Code. Additionally, this collection contains 2 hours of Dementia-related training as required by Section 2800.69 - Additional dementia-specific training of the Pennsylvania Code.

This collection contains 17 courses, totalling 18 hours of training as required by Pennsylvania state regulations, and covers a number of topics including, medication self-administration, care for residents with dementia, infection control, safe handling, care for residents with mental illness and intellectual development disabilities, emergency response, resident’s rights, the reporting of elder abuse, and falls prevention.
