Our collection of courses for Pennsylvania Direct Care Worker Orientation Training is designed to meet the requirements stated in Pennsylvania Code § 611.55 - Competency Requirements.
This collection contains 13 courses, totalling 14 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, confidentiality, client control and the independent living philosophy, assisting with iADLs, recognizing and reporting changes in the consumer, infection control, safety and emergencies, observation and documentation, responding to and reporting elder abuse, managing challenging behaviors, assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, ambulation and transfers, and assisting with medication self-administration.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create a customized orientation training program for your Pennsylvania-based Direct Care Worker team.
